Monthly GVCC NEWSLETTER - sent to all members & Business Associations. A great opportunity for you to share your information and promotional events. Important dates are always included.

Coffee & Conversation - This is a forum for our members to discuss common issues and concerns while collaborating on solutions. Fall and Winter dates will be announced.

The Lunch Bunch - This is an opportunity for all who attend to share information about their business while connecting with fellow members. Typically, this is held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 12:30pm at The Grille at the Train Station, Sayre. Collaboration, which is widely encouraged within our membership, is the key element of The Lunch Bunch.

The Elf Express Holiday Shopping event - This is a collaboration with approximately 25 local business owners held on the weekend following Thanksgiving. It encourages "shop local" and uses a passport system. Prizes are awarded to lucky shoppers.

Valley Gift Certificate Program

Over $800,000 has been kept in our local economy since the inception of this program. The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce does not profit from this program. VGC are sold in denominations of $10, $25, $50. They are sold at the GVCC office and at a few local businesses

Ribbon Cuttings and Tours

Absolutely no charge to members. We send invitations & we provide the ribbon, scissors, and media!

Business Referrals/Relocation Packets: (Receive an average of 15 calls a month for local business referrals)

The GVCC only makes referrals to chamber members

You don’t have to give one, to get one. Over 40 businesses offer a discount to chamber members and their employees. Company ID’s must be shown at some establishments.

Member Directories Published & Distributed throughout Bradford, Tioga, Chemung & Schuyler counties

Valley Guide with Map - ALL GVCC members get a FREE listing. There are great opportunities for display advertising. The Guide is distributed throughout Bradford County Tourism, CB Chamber, and all Chambers within a 60 miles radius in Bradford County. Additionally, they are distributed throughout Tioga County, NY Tourism and Chamber of Commerce, Watkins Glen Visitors Center and Chamber, Corning, Chemung County Chamber of Commerce and all locations of GUTHRIE

free to all members. Based on members’ requests, we offer classes from NTRPD, SBDC, and Team Tioga. The GVCC also encourages its members to host classes about their field of expertise: Ie .Insurance, social media, cyber security, web sites and more. The GVCC is here to assist members every step of the way.

Junior Chamber of Commerce Board: a total of 9 representatives from Athens, Sayre & Waverly!
The Junior GVCC plays a big role in the Valley Guide, in our Annual Banquet. They also go on tours of various local businesses, so they fully understand the importance of & impact of small and large businesses on our Valley and its economic well-being. The students are also exposed to future career opportunities within Valley businesses.
